Memoir of computer scientist, educator and writer Constantin Virgil Negoita (b. 1936), who received his doctorate from Polytechnic University in Bucharest, Romania in 1969 and became a faculty member at Hunter College in New York in 1982. He chaired the 8th International Congress on Cybernetics Systems in New York in 1990 and authored several works, including Cybernetic Conspiracy: Mind over Matter, Fuzzy Sets and Expert Systems and Fuzzy Systems.
