A pop-up architecture book! What could be more perfect?! I made this book as an homage to Alvar Aalto, one of my favorite architects. I love the clean lines of his Modernist Finnish architecture. I wanted to give a pop-up book out of a single sheet of paper, which I learned from Paul Johnson, a try and this seemed like the ideal book to make—three spreads of pop-up buildings in a tiny little 'zine printed on Sumi sketch paper. It is an open edition.
