Clos de la Roilette Fleurie 'La Griffe du Marquis'

VINTAGE: 2022 WINE TYPE: Red VARIETAL: Gamay COUNTRY: France REGION: Beaujolais  APPELLATION: Fleurie SIZE: 750ml Most of Roilette's oldest vines go into the 'Cuvee Tardive' bottling, but a small portion dating back to the 1930's are reserved for this wine, the smallest of all Roilette production.  This is the only barrique-aged wine from this cellar which lasts for a year and is thus always one vintage behind the other releases. Aromatic, rich and structured with notes of cherries, anise and spice. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and textured. This wine is layered and complex with rich tannins.
