We make acrylic boxes, enclosures, cases, etc. for a variety of specific devices, but sometimes you need something custom that's got everything in just the right place. For example, we do a lot of custom cases for scientific, engineering and mechanical equipment as well as specialty 3D printers, lasers, etc. To streamline the quoting process this calculator will walk you through the process of selecting how thick you want the acrylic, where the doors will go, and other options. SIZE LIMITATIONS Acrylic isn't a good choice for very large enclosures because of the ratio of weight to rigidity. The combined length of the two largest dimensions can not exceed 80 inches. If you are trying to cover two devices at once, it's better to purchase two smaller enclosures than one large one. ACRYLIC THICKNESS All panels are 6mm thick for a good tradeoff between cost, durability, sound deadening, and heat retention. DOORS Doors can be placed in any panel except the bottom.
