Pacific Coast Railway Boxcar #1236 (N scale)One of twenty-five 36’-6”long box cars with even numbers 1200 – 1248 built in 1924 by the Pacific Car & Foundry shops. Model based on drawings by Curt Johnson in the book “The Pacific Coast Railway – Central California’s Premier Narrow Gauge”.Model includes 3D-printed body and floor. Modeler must supply Micro Trains Line 905 body-mount couplers, Micro Trains Line 004 02 400 arch-bar trucks, 00-90 x 1/4” screws (2), Micro Trains N 49905911 (1089) Peacock Vertical Brake wheel, .012” brass wire for steps and brake staff, and Berkshire Junction EZ Line (or generic “knitting-in elastic”) for truss rods. Recommend replacing MTL wheelsets with Fox Valley (Scale Trains) metal wheelsets.
