The 4Throws Shorty Training Javelin was created specifically for training. The Shorty Javelin is 3 inches shorter than World Athletics specifications, so cannot be used in competitions. Using this training javelin will keep the miles off of your competition javelin, while still being able to train with the same weight and characteristics of the competition javelins. Can order in either steel tip or rubber tip. Due to the reduced length, the shipping charge is significantly less than a full sized 800g javelin.
