However, the Fantom enjoyed a strong rivalry with the rear drive 2WD Plazma series, also made by Kyosho. The Plazma’s final and ultimate model was the MKIII Limited which was released in 1987. More than 30 years later it lives again as part of the Kyosho Vintage Series! Like other Vintage Series models, the reborn Plazma MKIII Limited is true to the original design but features some modern adaptations for the latest R/C systems and power sources. Now you can relive the glory days of the 1980’s while enjoying the power and performance of modern racing! While sharing some components with the Fantom EP-4WD Ext, the simple structure of the Plazma makes it lighter and faster than the Fantom over circuits with enough grip. Like the 1987 original, the new Plazma MKIII Limited features a carb
