Flesh of Morning "The Devil in Me"
The Devil in Me by Flesh of Morning Austin minimal synth outfit Flesh of Morning return with "The Devil in Me," a tenebrous song that serves as the soundtrack to a short horror film. The group channels the likes of Clio, Giorgio Moroder, and Fad Gadget in the three minute saga. The film explores Americana horror and is inspired by 1980s satanic panic, extremists à la Alex Jones, and set to the backdrop of rural Texas on a local farm in Elgin, Texas. The director, Z.H. Williams, is a native Texan with a passion for horror. Based in Austin, he has worked extensively in the local music scene and covered major festivals like Levitation, ACL, and SXSW. Williams' inspiration comes from 70s horror, gritty realism, and the rugged spirit of West Texas. Pressing info: Lathe cut 5" — 50 copies Recorded by Flesh of MorningPressed by Precarian Cuts ALC-134
