Chromcraft "Sculpta" Double Pedestal Base Space Age Sofa

Whether you are a fan of space age design, Star Trek, or just statement furniture, this sleek Chromcraft "Sculpta" Sofa is for you!  This also listed in Chromcraft's orignal catalog as part of the "Presidential Series". Chromcraft "Sculpta" designs were actually used on the set of Star Trek The Original Series in the Starship Enterprise!  But what about in real life?  Is it comfortable and well made?  Yes!  The sofa retains its original black Naugahyde upholstery - with actually very good condition foam - there are built-in vents on the cushions so that when you sit the cushions do not hold air.  The sturdy aluminum double pedestal bases add the space age flair and are actually adjustable, although we think this is the best positioning for a sturdy footing.  The couch is tufted along the backrest and has all of its buttons!  Signs of wear are very minimal - a few scratches on the righthand side towards the bottom corner of the couch and on the back, as pictured.
