Groovy Bassett Amoeba Shaped Glass Top Coffee Table

In the heyday of mid century modern furniture designs, Bassett designed this groovy amoeba or kidney shaped glass top coffee table.  With a curving base on either side, reminiscent of Brasilia and a curving glass top perhaps inspired by Adrian Pearsall's table designs.  You are sure to have one unique coffee table! Professionally refinished, the wood of the table top and the base are in excellent condition.  The removable original glass top does have some minor wear, mainly some areas along the edge where it meets the table and minor surface scratches.  Not very noticeable. We are still searching for the name of this line - but for now we will call it groovy!
