When we sourced this pair of Model 3042 "Squirm" chairs designed by Paul McCobb for Custom Craft they had been collecting dust for many years and were in need of full restoration.  Duane's Refinishing refinished the legs and Becky McCarville Upholstery stripped the chairs down to the frame - adding new foam and new upholstery (Pollack Scribe Chalk Italian Chenille) from Modern Fabrics. Choosing fabric is difficult.  Although the original fabric was a vibrant orange (see last picture for the before!), we wanted to choose a new fabric that would show off the form of these chairs while being complimentary to more people's homes than the original orange.  We are happy with the results!
