Also known as Iron Goddess of Mercy, Tieguanyin is Rank 3rd in Top Ten Famous Teas of China Tieguanyin is the world’s most renowned oolong tea. It is so popular that it has practically become the pronoun for oolong tea. This particular kind of supreme Tieguanyin is close to green tea, with only a little fermentation. Subsequently, it has a very flowery, delicate aroma without the green tea "grassiness" or astringency. It should be noted that because of the low oxidation of our Tieguanyin Supreme it only has a shelf life of about 3 months, unless it is vacuum sealed and stored at approximately 23 degrees fahrenheit (-5 centigrade.)
