Tillie is a popover with very short sleeves that are full width at the ends and require no increases or decreases. The pattern is versatile and includes options so you can get your desired fit. Tillie plays with ribbing in two directions and is knit from the beginning of the left sleeve across the yoke to the end of the right sleeve. Once the yoke is completed, stitches are picked up along the bottom edge and ribbing is worked that will hang vertically. There are two neckline choices as well, both start with ribbing, but one version is folded to the inside and stitched down, whereas the other version is left as a cowl. Tillie is knit by holding a strand of woolly Horizon with a strand of silk mohair Frond. The resulting fabric is lofty with a stunning halo and is very soft.
