AVFKW x Jen Peck - Gingermint Shawl Bundle
The Gingermint Shawl is a top-down, symmetrical triangle shawl featuring a variety of textural stitches to create a meditative knitting experience and visually interesting final accessory. Simple slip stitch colorwork and a twisted rib border provide a bold finish. Originally designed for A Verb for Keeping Warm’s 2024 Pro-Verbial Club, Jen Peck's gorgeous design is now available for all. The Gingermint uses one full skein and one half skein of Annapurna, a sumptuous merino and cashmere blend sport weight yarn that is perfect for creating well-defined textured stitches. To create Peppermint and those bright pink speckles, we use a special mordanting process and cochineal. The Ginger Green Tea colorway is very hard to photograph as it shifts easily in the light. It is made using a combination of fustic, weld, and logwood purple. So in some light, it looks very dark green, and in other light it is a deep, moody, earthy brown. It is fascinating to compare this color and how it appear
