The two parallelograms together make a form that resembles a pair of wings and drapes naturally over the body in a comforting way. The fabric is a mix of two lace-weight yarns from two different brands. When worked together they make a light and drapey fabric that feels wonderful. A contrasting color is added to make ephemeral marl stripes and is also used in the neckline to give the edge both physical and visual gravitas. The stitch pattern is easy—it’s a 2-row pattern—so both the process of making Reflected and wearing it should be joyful.
