Originally designed for our Pro-Verbial Club, the Fern Wrap and Deep Emerald colorway is now available for all! The Fern Wrap consists of five sections, each a shorter repeat of the previous one. Achieved through the use of short rows, the Fern Wrap mimics the structure of the fern plant, reducing in size from the bottom cast on edge of the shawl to the top bind off and from the center spine to the outer leaf edges. The Fern Wrap requires 1 skein of Rumor. Even more exciting news...today's pre-order includes a new color of Rumor, our merino/silk yarn that many of you love and often request! The new color we are releasing is Deep Emerald, a rich green. When creating this color, we were inspired by the beautiful ferns and greenery in our garden. Deep Emerald is dyed by dipping it multiple times in the indigo vat, then overdyeing to create the deep green color. All of these layers of dye is why we reserve colors like this for special moments!
