Multidisciplinary treatment programs, integrating physical, occupational and speech therapy with a cognitive behavioral therapy based approach have shown promise in recent years. This course will review current diagnostic criteria for FMD, communication with patients and multidisciplinary treatment strategies. The activity is designed to provide practical tools, helping patients achieve optimal quality of life.
