INSTRUCTORS (click on the name below to read faculty bio)Matthew Russo, PhDDESCRIPTIONThis webinar will cover principles of science communication to facilitate translation of complex science and research for dissemination to broad audiences. We will primarily focus on strategies for preparing effective conference presentations and high-quality grant proposals. We will explore approaches for dealing with writer's block, summarizing while maintaining accuracy and constructing a story. Importantly, the goal of this webinar is not to provide a one-size-fits-all approach to science communication, but rather to help learners identify their preferred strategies for science communication to become more effective writers and presenters.
