Framed Ceramic Art Tiles
Our framed ceramic art tiles are ready to hang on the wall and make great gifts. They will be at home in any room, but art great for the kitchen and bath because they are easy to clean. We have partnered with Fun and Fine Wood Products to produce these solid oak frames finished with linseed oil and beeswax. The frames have mounting hardware attached to the back and the tiles are glued in securely. This listing is for one framed tile. This ceramic art tile is handcrafted by pressing soft clay into a carved plaster mold to create raised ridges. The valleys are flooded with glaze and then fired to cone 5. The ceramic cuenca tiles are 6 x 6 inches and frame is 9 x 9 x 3/4". Slight variations in color, texture, wood grain, and size occur naturally on these handmade framed tiles. About the imagery: Zia Sun Tile framed with the State of New Mexico. This is a vibrant tile with bright yellow, red, and dark or light blue glazes.
