Beech and walnut support spindle, with beech bowl

Weighing in at just 12 grams, this is a super lightweight spindle that has a fast and vigorous spin!  The highly tapered medium length shaft gives a small flicking surface for even more speed. The whorl is a beautiful fawn brown walnut with gorgeous undulating wood grain, while the beech shaft is a warmer coordinating brown. We have paired it with a coordinating beech bowl. In a test spin, we found that this goes super fast while maintaining a smooth, wobble-free balance. This spindle would do amazingly at adding a lot of twist into finer singles.  Kravelli spindles are handmade for us in the country of Georgia and they are one of a kind.
