2018 Nicolas Jay Pinot Noir 30" x 40" Oil Painting on Canvas Private Collection When a collector approached me with an idea to paint a still life of a wine bottle from a winery he was a part of in Williamette Valley in Oregon, I was naive to the winery community in Oregon.  After making the trip for reference photos, I can highly recommend going for either a couples weekend or girls trip.  Nicolas Jay Winery and the staff were beyond friendly, informative and helpful.   See behind the scenes at creating this painting here.
