Magnolia & Peony Artisan Soap   I don't know what I was thinking, but it worked out! Floral cold process soaps are notoriously difficult to get intricate details on because the liquid soap batter can thicken quicker than you put the spatula down and try to pick up the bowl to pour it into the prepared silicone mold. Thankfully, I did get to try out my lacey impression mat with this soap, and the result was far better than I had expected! Honestly, I thought it would be a dud that I would have to fix up somehow, but now I have a new pink soap for spring since Blush Artisan Soap lasted all of two weeks! Magnolias are one of my favorite first-signs-of-spring to spot, so I tried to do this one justice! A simple solid pink soap bar with the most intricate floral lace pattern on top that has a shimmery pink touch to bring out the full details in the lace. She deserves a moment of appreciation.
