14k Gold Boulder Opal Branch Ring

14K GOLD AUSTRALIAN BOULDER OPAL BRANCH RING- SZ 7.75 Australian Boulder opals have always been one of my all-time favorite stones. Each piece is so unique and special. This particular Opal has an awesome assortment of rainbow colors that look amazing in all lighting situations. It fades from Blue, Aqua, green, and light pink, and has some specks of lime green too! This opal was mined in Winton, Queensland, Australia. It has a freeform Organic kite shape to it. It has been framed with two split leaf branches. Australian Boulder opals are the second most valuable type of opal (following black opal). Boulder opals are easily distinguished by their layer of solid brown ironstone left on the back of the stone. Boulder opals are found only in the state of Queensland, Australia. This setting was first sculpted from scratch out of wax and then cast in recycled solid 14k gold. It is size US 7.75 and one of a kind! This ring can be increased in size a bit too.
