This big body 8 string baritone ukulele from Pono is really an amazing instrument. It's basically a tenor guitar that is set up with nylon strings and tuned D G B E. The large solid acacia body provides a big, warm beautiful sound while the nylon strings are nice and easy on the fingers. 8 string baritones have a high and low D string, a high and low G string, and unison B and E strings. It gives it a cool shimmery, jangly tone. Comes with a nice Pono padded case.
