Constructed from a virtually indestructible nylon/rayon blend, the MP-TEX® M-65 field jacket is this winter's toughest outer layer. Its wind and water resistant shell and warm quilted lining guarantee protection against harsh elements, and the sturdy fabric has a breaking point of 250 pounds. The field jacket is the most iconic piece of the innovative M-65 uniform design that was issued to the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. As the most well-known manufacturer of the original M-65, Alpha Industries also produced this MP-TEX® field jacket for peacetime wear in 1997. This is an authentic deadstock item.
