We use rye which is fully hydrated, gypsum added and sterilized. These self-healing injection port mushroom spawn bags are ready to inoculate right out of the box. Simply inoculate your bag with 4 to 6cc of your favorite gourmet mushroom culture and shake the bag. Allow to colonize in normal room temperature for four weeks or until fully colonized.
