Includes Little Women or Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, and Little Men. First edition thus, from Little Brown and Company, Boston. Illustrated by Elinore Blaisdell in both color and black-and-white plates. Uncommon edition, seldom found as a pair, and rarely with the slipcase. Volumes in very good condition, with little shelf wear. Some sunning and soiling on spines. "2 Vols" penciled lightly in each cover. Pages are perfect -- bright and supple, color illustrations brilliant. Slipcase in fair condition, cracked along edges and lightly soiled, but free of tape and stands square.
