Rolex Submariner
Why We Love It The Rolex Submariner is a classic, and there’s good reason why almost every collector winds up with a vintage Rolex sports model in their stash - these are timeless, tough, do-anything, go-anywhere tool watches. Rolex has been producing Submariners uninterrupted since the watch was introduced in 1953, and while those first Big Crown subs are truly incredible pieces, most of us will have to wait for our lottery numbers to hit to get one of those strapped to our wrist. This Reference 5513 represents the end of an era - its "L" serial dates it to circa 1989 and it features a glossy black dial with tritium luminescent elements, raised and surrounded by white gold. The dial and hands remain in outstanding condition with a rich, creamy patination, giving it a perfect look. It has a nice thick case devoid of over-polishing and its timing bezel shows a faint bluish hue with an intact and matching pip. It comes fitted to a solid link 93150 Oyster Bracelet with signed Flip-Lock c
