
Omega Constellation
The Constellation was once Omega’s flagship model. A contemporary to the original Speedmaster, Seamaster, Railmaster and DeVille collections, the 'Connie' was an elevated choice, offering Omega's finest, award-winning precision movements with high-concept design execution and materials. Over the years Omega has produced innumerable Constellation models, with a wide variation in case shape and dial design. This particular example, a Reference 1202.30.00, dates to the 1990s and uses an integrated case and bracelet style that clearly drew its inspiration from Gerald Genta's masterpieces of the 1970s. This design language is still in use in the current Constellation collection today, and serves to bridge the gap between a pure dress watch - as the Constellation was originally intended - and a sporty, more luxurious timepiece.
