
Breitling Premiere B01 Chronograph 42
If you think Breitling is a one-trick pony, think again. Breitling first started manufacturing the Premier line of chronographs as early as the 1940s. With triple chronograph registers and blued hands, they're an exercise in understated elegance. In fact, one could almost say they're dress watches. In 2018, the Georges Kern-helmed brand relaunched the Premier collection in an attempt to — as Mr. Kern put it — “fish in a bigger pond.” And indeed, these dressier pieces are available in various sizes, with various dials, and with various complications. One of the standouts, to our mind, also features one of its most unconventional dials… This particular Premier, a B01 Chronograph 42, features a beautiful green sunburst dial. Green has been particularly on-trend recently, and this particular dial does well to modernize a traditional design package. Coming in at 42mm in diameter, it features a fantastic, stainless steel case with stepped flanks, a sapphire crystal, a signed crown, dual ‘cus
