Carcharodontosaurus tooth in hard matrix

The teeth of Carcharodontosaurus were long, curved, and serrated, with a distinctive blade-like shape that was well-suited for hunting and killing prey. They were up to 8 inches long and had a distinctive "D" shaped cross-section, which gave them a saw-like cutting edge. The teeth were arranged in rows along the jaws, with the larger teeth situated towards the front of the mouth for maximum impact. This is a monster example of how big these animals were.
