One-of-a-Kind: Glorified Nine Patch Flora Jacket (XS)

This cropped coat is made from a medium weight quilt that both hand-pieced and quilted in a Glorified (or sometimes referred to as Modified) Nine Patch pattern. The base color is a saturated coral-toned red, with an assortment of vivid indigo fabrics used throughout the nine patch blocks, which are further accentuated by the indigo binding. This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit! It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn or slightly discolored areas - these are not viewed as flaws, but rather giving it character and showing its history.
