One-of-a-Kind: Patchwork Blues Flora Jacket (S)
This Flora Jacket is made from a midweight quilt that is hand-pieced and quilted in a classic patchwork pattern, featuring so many gorgeous shirting patterns throughout. The placket, inner collar, pockets, and outer edge are bound in a vintage whole feedsack in a beautiful floral that I have had stashed away for years, waiting for the perfect project. This is the first quilted Flora Jacket I ever made, so it has deep sentimental value - I’m excited to share it with you! This style jacket features a scooped side hem, bound edges, plackets and inner collar, antique brass snaps and oversized handwarmer style pockets. This is the Flora Jacket pattern by Brightside Pattern Company that I pattern tested for them, and they were kind enough to grant me permission to make finished coats available to you! The fit is oversized through the body with slimmer arms, and a stand up collar - a truly amazing fit! It is possible this piece shows its age in places in the form of worn, slightly discolored
