EV Battery Integrity Pressure Test Kit - ANSED/KANE-EVBPT
Overview: Many fully electric vehicles have their high voltage battery mounted low down under the floor pan of the vehicle. The battery case is intended to be & sealed & from the elements to prevent water ingress, should the vehicle drive through deep water, for example. To ensure the battery case is correctly sealed the manufacturers recommend an "integrity test" which is a pressure test to check for leaks in the battery case seals, particularly the large top seal that runs around the edge of the battery case The pressure is very low and must be introduced slowly to prevent any internal battery cell pack damage. The pressures vary from manufacturer to manufacturer but are usually between 20 - 50 Millibar (0.8psi max). The KANE-EVBPT kit has been developed to allow a suitably qualified technician to pressure test these batteries in a safe and controlled manner. Warning: Always adhere to the manufacturer’s instructions and specifications, and never exceed the ma
