Late 19th century, Georgian-style mahogany folding envelope game table, fitted with four triangular leaves with flush mounted brass hinges, unfolding to reveal a baize surface for game play and an indentation inside each leaf, presumably to hold the players' dice or money. The open table top can be rotated 90 degrees. Has a single drawer with brass, floral S-curve handle. Stands on four carved cabriole legs on casters for mobility, united by X-form stretcher with a finial at the center. 21 1/4" x 21 1/4" folded table top, 30 1/4" x 30 1/4" unfolded table top, 29 1/4" height. From Old Kinderhook, New York
