Antique shell carnet bal, in superbly chocolate colored and lightly mottled cognac shell, with a border of gold stringing framing a beautifully gold cartouche with no monogram yet engraved on it. Very good condition for age and type. Lining showing a bit of its age, as many do, but it's intact and perfect to hold your own business cards in each side pocket, and a note or two inside the notepad. Wonderful, isn't it!
