Antique Victorian Shadow Box Style 11.25" Picture Frame, Gilt Gesso, Profile Portrait Miniature

Gorgeous antique Victorian or Napoleon III era 11.25" shadow box style picture frame with stunning gilt gesso on wood inner framing on a brown velvet mat, what appears to be a hand painted profile portrait miniature (on paper), glass facade and original velvet covered hang ring back! Isn't that inner gilded framing just fabulous! Ornate with an array of detailed flowers & foliate scrolls. Set against the dark velvet mat, the rich gold really stands out beautifully. The outer frame appears to be in mahogany and the glass appears original though who really knows after all of these years (I see no waviness or tiny air bubbles which would have been an obvious sign). The back original with matching velvet and the old brass or bronze hang rings at each upper corner. The portrait miniature profile inside appears to be hand painted on paper though I haven't removed it to inspect more closely.  We're pricing the frame as if just vacant so the miniature might just be a bonus.  One of two bea
