DESCRIPTIONThe Banks Power 48997 5" Single Monster Exhaust With Side Kick Tip will help lower exhaust gas temperatures on your GM 6.6L Duramax L5P. The DPF-back exhaust system features 5" mandrel bent Aluminized Steel tubing and a massive 6.5 x 7.5-inch ob-round slash-cut exhaust tip. The factory exhaust measures 2.85” compared to the massive 5-inch outlet on this system that provides a 192% Greater Flow area than stock. This exhaust creates 85% less backpressure than factory exhaust, leading to increased fuel economy and more power. This tip practically eliminates exhaust backpressure after the DPF to provide a 15% reduction in exhaust temperature to prevents trailer meltdown. Available Cerakote high-temp matte black or chrome-plated polished stainless steel, this tip will not turn brown with heat.
