Hirshfeld, a renowned cartoonist, author and theatrical caricaturist with "The New York Times," signed his last name on the envelope in blue pen. This envelope comes with a prepaid telephone calling card with the same design as the featured stamp. Harold Lloyd, featured on the envelope, is considered alongside Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton as one of the most influential film comedians of the silent film era. Lloyd made nearly 200 comedy films, both silent and "talkies", between 1914 and 1947.
