The ball was signed by MLB player George Foster, who wrote “To Mark #15 N.Y. Mets.”  Foster is an American former professional baseball player and scout. He played in Major League Baseball as an outfielder. A five-time All-Star, Foster was one of the most feared right-handed sluggers of his era, leading the National League for home runs in 1977 and 1978.
