White Noise 2, by Sophie Klerk

Working out of her hometown of Copenhagen, Denmark, Sophie Klerk makes art out of an "intuitive and emotional response" she says, "to my surroundings and materials, the hidden, the nostalgic—layers of the known and unknown."   Klerk uses mixed media to create her collages—found paper and objects, sometimes photographs—that she layers and assembles together in abstract graphics rooted in texture and color composition. Created as part of an exclusive series for ARJÉ, White Noise 2 is a collage of symbolic shapes that embody the ARJÉ philosophy of mind, body and spirit.
