Alcohol: 14% Grape(s): 100% Barbera  Localization: Piedmont, Italy Tasting Notes: Ruby red color with aroma of ripe cherries and vanilla. Notes of violet and more rounded structure than Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne. Brilliant acidity and sweet tannins on the palate with a balanced presence of wood. Good complexity and persistent cherry finish. Notes: From grapes from vineyards located in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba, La Morra, and other towns of the Langhe. The age of the vines varies from 27 to 42 years. The average density per hectare is about 4500 vines per hectare with Guyot cultivation. The soil is clayey limestone. Alcoholic fermentation lasts about 2 weeks and is carried out in steel. The delestages are frequent and the pumping over takes place on a daily basis.
