Unity of Mind and Spirit

These earrings contain the Adinkra Symbol (symbols used by the Ashanti People) called Funtunfunefu- Denkyemfunefu, which roughly translates "Siamese Crocodiles." It is the symbol of democracy and unity. The Siamese crocodiles share one stomach, yet they fight over food.  This popular symbol is a reminder that infighting and tribalism are harmful to all who engage in it.
