The Moon Was on Fire original painting is inspired by one of my favorite places, Bayview Idaho. This painting is a tribute to the Lake House which is an iconic floating restaurant that operates during the summer months. However, it is no longer in operation. The reference photo was taken during the summer fires which turned the moon red. Bayview is a small town on lake Pend Orielle, known for it's unique military history, floating homes and fishing.  Details: 30" x 40"  Acrylic on Canvas Canvas is wrapped on a 1 and 1/2 inch bar, eliminating the need for framing although one can still frame it if desired Wire mounting on the back Gloss finish
