The Cycle is Flooded with Information #5

Through this series of artwork titled “The Cycle is Flooded with Information”, Yusup M. Ramdani delivers his take on what it's like to live in an era where we are spoon-fed many kinds of information by the ever-growing media, and how to find the ones we’re really looking for. The pointillism technique used to depict his character represents the unity formed from each and every single bit of information one can catch. Using dried coffee spill on paper, Ramdani represents the sense of serenity and control many finds in coffee, as well as inspiration- while navigating through the flooding world of information. As one does when faced by disruption, Ramdani’s character uses this moment to reflect and self introspect. His attempt on seeking for information is no longer his priority as it overwhelmed him and problems arose, therefore he decided to seek newfound knowledge in things that already existed.
