Oil on canvas 12"x12" The entire piece began with the palette knife, I established the distant trees, and then the foreground with the bigger, darker trees. This is a very simple composition and posture of the person portrayed. They sit by the lantern... taking a break. During these chaotic times, it's nice to take a deep breath. I hope you can find some time to take a nice walk or do something kind for your mental health.
