Haruka Sugiyama is a potter located in Kasama, Ibaraki just North of Tokyo. He works with glazes that tend to melt and mix during the firing process. For the white piece, he uses two different glazes and they drip down to the bottom of the plate and make crystals. They are mysterious yet so beautiful.
