Stop Motion Animation Art Camp-Summer 2025

Monday-Thursday, 12:30pm-3:30pm (No camp Friday, July 4)June 30-July 3, 2025Grades 2 and up Stop motion animation techniques including lego animation, claymation and cut paper animation will be learned in this exciting digital arts camp. Students will create animated figures using stop motion photography. Stop-motion animation is where each animated piece, including characters and backgrounds, is constructed out of three dimensional objects and each frame is recorded digitally and then played back in quick succession to give the appearance of movement.  Students will be working on our new iMac computers throughout this fun camp to create, film and edit their movies. Teamwork and collaboration will be stressed as young filmmakers learn the process. All art camps/classes at Art Studio Hamptons are taught by New York State Certified Art Teachers with years of experience in the classroom who also practice their own art professionally.
