This hands-on session is designed to guide you through the basics of ceramics while giving you the freedom to unleash your creativity in a peaceful environment with plenty of time to relax and get creative. Students will create a variety of functional and decorative clay projects that will be fired in a kiln and then painted/glazed. Students will learn to work with slabs, coil, pinch techniques and add texture and design to the clay.  A variety of surface texturing and glazing techniques will be explored to allow for individual creativity to finish your ceramic masterpieces.  Class size is extremely limited.
