Domaine Jean-Baptiste Duperray "Les Deux Complices" Pinot & Gamay 2022

"Les Deux Complices," or, "The Two Accomplices", comes from 20 year-old vines grown on the limestone hills of Burgundy.  The AOC for this region is Coteaux Bourguignons, literally translating to "Burgundian Hills."  As the name suggests, the vines in this region content with steep, rugged growing conditions, with plenty of sun exposure and a relatively long ripening period. Aged in a combination of cement tanks and seasoned oak barrels, this vintage shows the best of both its varietals.  Spice, fruit, tannin, and breadth, all evenly balanced on the palate.
